Job Description

  • Developing technical documentations and user manuals of ERP software.
  • Performing day-to-day maintenance on the ERP system.
  • Degree in Information Technology, MIS, Computer Science or relevant field.
  • Responsible for development of new features, MIS and BI reports, bug fixes and upgrades on the Odoo ERP system.
  • Provide consistent and clear communication between all project stakeholders.
  • Meeting with users and stakeholders to find out their ERP-related needs.
  • Implementing and providing support for Odoo ERP system for the organization with significant online presences.
  • Deploying new features, enhancements and fixes, installing new upgrades and testing for bugs.
  • System configuration and data import/ export will be part of the job responsibilities as well. Qualifications.
  • Facilitate meetings to collect information and then unite these disparate visions into a cohesive whole for the organization.
  • Elicit requirements from stakeholders, analyze the requirements, examine the current system to pinpoint strengths and weaknesses, identify the best approach, and deliver appropriate solutions.
  • Optimizing the system for easy use, and training employees in its functions. Generally, a training program will be organized to educate employees as efficiently as possible.

  • Ability to travel, sometimes on short notice.
  • Communication and Presentation Skills – responsible for presenting new features, development plan and upgrades, as well as for teaching the ins and outs of the upgraded system to users and stakeholders. As such, need strong communication skills to be able to get complex ideas across in an easy-to-understand fashion. Good presentation skills.
  • Problem-Solving Skills – will be on call to handle any issues with the Odoo ERP Software. Need to be able to think creatively and resolve problems to ensure the smoothest possible experience for users of the Odoo ERP software. Good with problem solving and analytical skill. Experience with analyzing complex issues and delivering appropriate solutions.
  • Teamwork and Leadership – is responsible for coordinating the needs of development team and Odoo implementation team. Self-starter and effective team player. Strong team facilitation skills. Excellent conflict resolution skills.
  • Technical/Coding Skills – Extensive knowledge of working experience in Python programming, Odoo Enterprise Edition customization, PostgreSQL Database and SQL queries. Extensive knowledge of software and coding, and a readiness to learn new programs as they are introduced and incorporated.
