Job Description

Overall Responsibility

  • Ensures quality assurance [QA] and quality control [QC] on operation of MEGA
  • Ensures product quality related problems are identified and resolved.
  • Evaluates operation system, established product quality assurance procedures and conduct inspections for product quality assurance.
  • Recommend changes or improvements of QMS.
  • In the absence of QA Manager, QA Executive or QA Assistant who is trained to be competent shall take responsibility on behalf of Manager.

Key Area of Accountability

  • Prepare and/or verify product related SOP to comply with the requirements of certified ISO
  • Monitor the conformance of storage condition of storage areas including cold storage rooms

  • Execute the Temperature Mapping Procedure and Protocol for Transport Qualification

  • Ensure that all products stored in Warehouse have proper identification for their status [Quarantine, Release, Reject/ Damage, Product Status, etc.]
  • Ensure that logistic and warehousing process are in line with the approved SOPs/ work procedure

  • Ensure to maintain the quality of both cold chain and non- cold chain products 

  • Shipment Arrival product inspection for the correspondence to inspection criteria depending product specification and product nature

  • Authorize to release the sales for all shipment arrival(for some cases, to seek advice from supplier side to release the product or under undecided conditions)
  • Authorize the product release for the return process of both cold chain and non-cold chain products

  • Authorize the disposal of written-off products
  • Ensure  that all product related complaints received from customers are reported to respective supplier with immediate action in cooperation with Customer Service Department
  • Prepare quality training plan for operation staff as necessary

  • Conduct Good Documentation Practice & Basic Concept of ISO 9001:2008 training to operation staff  (as per plan)
  • Conduct Training to WH staff for the revised Warehouse SOPs in addition of QA role and responsibility (if exist)
  •  Evaluate the training effectiveness of the training conducted to WH staffs
  • Consult , coordinate and support to respective departments in matters related to product quality
  • Proper communication with all departments and consultant firm for QMS process
  • Point of contact with supplier/principle in cases related to product quality issue
  • Establish, Implement and Maintain QMS process in order to meet ISO 9001:2008 standards
  • Ensure to have proper documentation and recording practice for product related documentation process.

Job Requirements

Experiences and Educational Requirements

  • 2 to  3 year managerial level at Quality management for Pharmaceutical products and FMCG product
  • Pharma related graduate ( B.Pharm, MBBS, BDS, DVSC )
  • ISO Certification 
  • Internal Audit Certification
  • Supply Chain Management Certification

Skills or Competencies Requirements

  • Knowledge toward over all business
  • Background knowledge of ISO Standard Requirements& GSDP

  • Communication Skill, Team Work,
