Job Description

  • Responsible for the financial planning of Operating Expenses as well as oversight of the Expenditures planning and forecast submission for a specific function
  • Construct of the operating expense plan/budget/forecast based upon business direction and input, financial systems administration of the plan/budget/forecast
  • Analyse across relevant comparative periods, communication with various stakeholders that inform the construct of the plans/budgets/forecasts, as well as generating insights about OPEX that influence decision-making and provide some input to the risks and opportunities process
  • Maintain the primary business relationship with related departments
  • Reviews periodic OPEX plans/budgets/forecasts, ensuring completeness, reasonable accuracy, and relevance of information
  • Supporting the team in effectively monitoring and controlling their respective OPEX results
  • Provides data and process guidance to operations teams
  • Timely delivery of operating expense plans/budgets/forecasts and related management reports based on agreed upon due dates as well as set submission deadlines
  • Manage the reasonably accurate operating expense plans/budgets/forecasts and related management reports based upon business direction and input alongside fundamental financial assumptions
  • Ensures adherence to SOPs (standard operating procedure) and as appropriate, recommends changes to improve the effectiveness of business support processes, enhancing quality, speed, and efficiency of output
  • Enforces guidelines and ensures compliance including data confidentiality where applicable
  • Coordinates as necessary with relevant parties to action solutions delivery
  • Responsible for leading the Team with significant impact on achievement of team, KPIs, with some influence on defining department business strategies.
  • Negotiate and convince others outside the Bank with similar objectives and perspectives to accept complete plans and proposals
  • Required to modify and occasionally improve, existing methods and approaches within own scope, but occasionally affects other areas
  • Manage and lead team through expertise in most/all areas within a function
  • Require to modify existing methods and approaches within own scope/role
  • Execute other duties and projects as are reasonably required of your job, in order to maintain, promote, develop and expand the bank and its interests

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Business Management, Finance or any related field
  • Minimum of (8) years experiences in related field, with at least 3 years in a Management role in the Banking Industry
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience in the most current technologies and products used in the banking industry.
  • Professional attitude and appearance, good communication and public relation, Customer service mindset and attitude
  • Strong problem-solving, managerial and analytical skills; good social and communication skills, coupled with organizational skills.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Good command of English (Writing + Speaking)
