Job Description

Providing leadership to the Branch banking set up, the role will be responsible for retail banking strategy. The role will be responsible for establishing the sales procedures with strong control framework in place and ensure the policies and procedures comply with the requirements of central Bank of Myanmar. The role will be an enabler to adopt the best practice in the industry and implement an effective operational model for the growing business.

 

To establish and maintain positive customer relationships, plan, and deliver an effective marketing strategy and monitor the progress of new and existing products; as well as provide operational management support on a day-to-day basis. Head of Retail Banking is responsible for leading, managing and growing retail network; with establish goals and implementation of strategies to achieve growth, profit, operational efficiency, and best-in-class customer experience.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelors degree from reputable university
  • Preferable for Master’s degree from a recognised university in Business administration / Finance or related field
  • At least 8+ years of experience in the banking industry
  • Working knowledge of banking products, procedures, technology, government regulations and compliance requirements specific to banking.
  • Must thrive in rapidly changing business environment; solution oriented; excellent communication, time management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and utilize best-practice management
  • Excellent leadership skills to build a high performing team
  • Exhibit and maintain high degree of professionalism
  • Maintain high degree of confidentiality and integrity
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good judgment and decision-making skills
  • Sound knowledge in Microsoft-Office.
