Job Description

On behalf of our Client, a diesel fuel supplier. We are looking for an: Assistant Accounting Manager (Fuel Distribution) to be based at their offices in Yangon, Myanmar.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversees, controls and monitors all the operations of Finance department
  • Analyzes financial information and prepares financial reports for the identification or maintenance of liabilities, tax liability, asset, or other financial activity records (account receivable, account payable, inventory control and cash flow)
  • Prepares daily, monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
  • Tracks the company’s financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement
  • Reports to the management with regards to the finances of the company
  • Conducts reviews and evaluations for cost reduction opportunities
  • Performs matters for taxation, auditing and budgeting
  • Trains, guides and monitors accountants
  • Protects the company’s value by keeping information confidential
  • Acts as a point of contact for financial issues and complaints
  • Performs and takes responsible for other duties as assigned by the Management

Job Requirements

  • University Degree in Commerce (B. Com) or University Degree with any major subject plus Post graduate diploma in Finance
  • Having LCCI Level III or Dip IFR or attending ACCA Part-2 or CPA Part-2 will be an advantage
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in Accounting field
  • Good knowledge of financial related regulations & legislations, Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Accounting Software
  • Good command of English Language
  • Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, sociability skills and multicultural skills
  • Willing to travel as business trips
