PURPOSE OF THE ROLETo support regulatory team to ensure all activities of company are in compliance with the Telecommunications Law in Myanmar and applicable Legal and Regulatory Framework.ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES• Assist in identifying regulatory risks and developing the risk mitigation plan. • Manage Ooredoo Myanmar’s Regulatory Information.• Prepare and share information with Ooredoo Group related to Regulatory Issues. • Draft letters, comments, responses to queries and other communications for submission to the regulator and other relevant ministries related to the Regulatory Issues. • Provide support through research of international best practices, analysis of regulatory trends and other information. • Responsible for the development of the documents such as responses to public consultations, regulatory audits and other queries issued by the regulator.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS • University Graduate• Fluent in English and Myanmar Language both spoken and written is mandatory.• Telecommunications regulatory experience either with government or private sector • 1-3 years of working experience in managing complex analytical, technical and managing compliance databases.• Knowledge and understanding of different Telecommunications Law in Myanmar, Legal & Regulatory Frameworks.
