Quality ControlMonitor defined quality KPIs to evaluate production process and performance and initiate appropriate improvement activities. Review quality KPI's results and report to Line Manager. Control correct product BOM in QIMS prior production to secure product quality. Coordinate material and product related trouble shooting activity as/when it happens within the shift and report to Line Manager.Quality AssuranceSupervise quality inspection plan and process flow executation to be in line with R&D QA Manual requirements (incoming materials inspection, shelf life control, shorts usage, etc.) and local rules & procedures in order to avoid and/or minimize product write off due to material. Initiate appropriate non-compliance requests (NCR) to supplier and follow-up with execution and delivery of results for continuous improvement. Coordinate trouble shooting activity related to product and/or materias as/when it happens and report to Line Manager.Quality ImprovementCoordinate and execute - quality improvement activites, quality related trainings factory wide, NPD protoypes, eMQF tests, IICI activity, complaints study and feedback to markets, QME calibration and maintenance, QIMS management. This is to ensure continuous improvement in product quality. Lead IICI activity and infestation firefighting as/when it happens and report to Manager. Support Line Manager by providing relevant input in preparation and monitoring departmental budget and objectives setting on various projects and planning cycles. Systematicaly control quality data, recording and reporting and data acuracy is in place in each aspect of quality activity to ensure timely and correct action to be planned and executed.Continuous improvementAnalize all quality KPIs,quality indicators and quality performance in order to promtly react to deviations. Suggest actions to achieve better performance at lower cost. Identify medium and long term opportunities for improvement by assining resources, analysing data, developing solutions and measuring results. Actively participate in Process improvement activites factory wide and contribute to ensure processes are performed with minimum wastage of direct materials (NTM, cut filler) and rejects.Energy Saving and EHSFocus on energy saving opportunity and maintain zero LTI & RI in department by cascading all relevant communications, programs and initiatives from Line Manager, factory Engineering and EHS. Contribute to minimize waste in daily job to safe environment. Participate in tasks /projects/programs and audits associated with ISO, FM Global and other programs including CP, 5S3R initiatives carried out by local and global authorities. People management Recruit, motivate and guide the professional development of the team reporting directly and indirectly to the incumbent. Support Line Manager to identify training needs, plan and allocate time for training and development.Other Coordinate and execute various tasks and projects (global and local) as they arise and upon manager’s and/or cross functional departments request.
College or University degree or similarMinimum 3 years of service in quality department in similar tobacco/food industry.English spoken and written.Functional Skills:Quality, engineering, production and/or warehouse operation knowledeg, complaints management, system management (quality/production/engineering/warehouse), beetle infestation kowlegde, 5S3R, EHS, ISO, trend analysis, presentation.
