Job PurposeThe Operation Manager will head the operation function and will be responsible for supplier management as well as to ensure that all customer’s orders are fulfilled on a timely basis.Key Responsibilities• Develop and implement strategies and action plan to enhance the management of suppliers and order fulfillment.• Oversee the management of suppliers of the company and ensure that they maintain sufficient stocks for the company’s customers.• Review and follow-up with suppliers on their inventory accuracy in the company’s inventory system.• Work with sales order processing team to identify poor performing suppliers and to develop action plan to improve their performance and supply to the company.• Co-ordinate between sales order and delivery team and ensure that the turnaround time meets the operation standards. • Review and resolve all non-fulfillment cases or customer’s complaints.• Lead and drive the continuous improvements in the operation processes from order to delivery.• Prepare monthly reports on the business operation for the management.
Job Specifications• Degree in Business Administration or any related discipline.• Must have at least 5 to 8 years’ experience preferably with the retail or trading industry.• Good experience at supplier management and must be able to build strong relationship with suppliers.• Good interpersonal skills and must be able to communicate well in English.• Good integrity and able to work independently.
