Operations• Supervise both the Yangon logistics team and field teams around the country• Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, contractors and clients• Organize and manage logistics operations and processes in Myanmar (transport and delivery)• Support with freight solutions, estimates and budgets involved for any project in Myanmar• Cross border trucking + clearance process• Develop and maintain relationship with local logistics suppliers: freight forwarders, trucking companies.• Manage running costs and to optimize efficiency and profitabilityBusiness Development• Identify and secure new business opportunities • Prepare sales quotations, proposals and contracts in line with the company policy• Organize follow-up visits and report monthly about sales activities and status of the pending projects• Increase revenue/margins through development of both new business and existing clients• Suggest product improvements and /or new products in line with the market requirements Training to team about delivery process• Quotation process • To request JOB NO, if we get new JOB. Destination address + POC.• Need to prepare POD for that new job.• To take advance for estimated amounts about this shipment arrangement.• To start loading about this shipment + to do records before loading with taking some pictures by some boxes opening, if needed.To send official shipping follow up by email to client, after loading’s done.• To do follow up with truckers by twice a day + reports to line manager • Need to inform with consignee for arrival time before delivery with truckers.• Delivery process to consignee like (1. Inform to consignee for arrival time + receiving areas, 2. Guideline with truckers for delivery to consignee + signed documents before truck leaving + not to ask for money about offloads labor charges from consignee 3. Check with consignee about goods receiving or not such as asking money by labors)• If damages found, need to check with truckers by viber photos + asking reasons from truckers + reporting to respective line manager for the issues. (Line manager need to response the feedbacks to client.)• To do follow up for receiving signed documents to our office ASAP with truckers.• To send official shipping follow up by email to client, after offloading’s done.• Once received original signed documents at office, to do a copy of documents + filing in our system + handover to copy documents to our finance team. (Scanned files to respective line Manager, if needed. You need to ask for scanning to line manager before scanning.)
• Bachelor’s degree or above in related field of study• Proficiency in the use of MS Office tools ( MS Excel in particular)• Good use to internet , E-mail and outlook. • Strong Communication skills, confident disposition high energy• Above over 3 year experience in logistics / field transportation and distribution.
