Management of one or more customer accounts, lifecycle, and extending existing products where feasible, safety issues, profit and loss responsibility, directing the assessment, development, launch and continuous improvement activities related to specific business or product category, and day-to-day customer interface and operation of on-site manager.This role will manage all aspects of staffing, training and performance accountability, determine shipping priorities, work assignments, shipping methods, prepare bills of lading, complete inventories, research and resolve discrepancies. Ideal candidates will have 5-7 years’ experience in high volume logistics and warehouse environments where safe packaging is a key requirement. Aviation logistics is strongly preferred. This is not an entry level leadership role. Previous leadership experience with direct responsibility for measuring success metrics, identifying areas for improvement and identifying and implementing process improvements, leading a team to achieve common goals, and strategically managing day to day activities to meet department standards even as business demands change is required. This position works in an indoor non-climate controlled and climate-controlled environment daily, lifts/moves boxes and equipment, uses a computer, and requires manual dexterity, ease of mobility, and the ability to stand for long periods of time. This is a hands-on role that will require manual tasks as needed. • Monitor product import or export processes and conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance with regulatory or legal requirements.• Maintain metrics, reports, process documentation, customer service logs, or training or safety records. • Establish models and metrics (KPIs) for use in evaluating logistics performance.• Manage and oversee daily warehouse operations to ensure all production orders are shipped to customers promptly in adherence to delivery schedules.• Ensure periodic cycle count and account for materials inventory, supplies, or equipment. • Manage and plan warehouse layout and space requirements to achieve optimal warehouse utilization.• Plan & manage daily warehouse/shipping operations, ensure timely process of customer orders• Oversees, plans, directs, supervises the entire function and all-related functionalities• Investigate root-cause of operation incidents and service failures, make recommendation to the Operations Manager/management for improvements• Constantly review and explore effective operational methods to achieve higher productivity in the area of responsibilities
• Warehouse Management Leadership experience is required. In depth knowledge of Supply Chain Processes. • Proven track record of working through complex problems while maintaining a positive work environment. • Thorough understanding of Quality Processes and Standards.• Previous experience with labor management. • Minimum of 5 years working in complex warehousing facility.• Strong technical and operational knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems. • A leader who brings out the best in all team members involved in System change with proven managerial courage experience. • Must possess exceptional communication, interpersonal, problem solving and customer service skills.• Ability to effectively manage profit and loss statements is necessary.• Capable of interacting effectively with all levels of personnel in a fast paced just-in-time cross dock delivery environment.• Some Business Development experience preferred.• Knowledge of shipping, receiving or transportation preferred.• Develop and disseminate SAP expertise in receiving, material handling and shipping processes.• Logistics supervisory/coaching experience• Lean Six Sigma certification• Experience in SAP• Experience in Material Handling• Experience in Distribution and Logistics• English 4 Skill
