Overall Responsibilities• To assist Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and General Manager of China Desk in coordinating with various internal and external stakeholders on business development tasks for the Chinese Market.• Be responsible for following up on matters arising from discussions and supporting execution of initiatives.• To serve as a bridge between Myanmar based team and China Desk team - to ensure effective communication and to help achieve the goal of becoming major Myanmar focus tourism company in two-year time.Key Responsibility of the Role• To perform necessary follow-up and track the progress on agreed assignments for China market.• To help produce marketing materials and inbound tours packages in coordination with operation and sales teams and translate them into Chinese.• To perform market research on potential tourism spots to expand product offerings that suit Chinese clientele.• To help fill any communication gaps between Myanmar team and China team.• To support on a board scope of functionsa) Business development - following through with leads on new products offerings (tours packages including new activities, hotels, restaurants, etc.)b) Project management –taking initiatives to be work on different projects and keep track of every tasks to meet deadlines• To perform additional tasks assigned by Superior based on the requirement of the Organization.
Competencies Requirement (Skills, Qualifications and Experiences):• Good command of Chinese language (Mandarin) and Myanmar, English language ability would be an added advantage• Excellent business writing skills in Chinese and English• Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure• Excellent usage of the Microsoft Office Pack (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), good knowledge of social media and media consumption in China would be an advantage• Strong organization and project management skills• A Can-do attitude• Friendly and personable demeanor• Able to work independently but within strategic framework• Team player• Strong interest in promoting the tourism of Myanmar

Born in Myanmar, Mr Serge Pun immigrated to Beijing in 1965 and subsequently to Hong Kong where in1983, after working in the property industry for many years, he founded the Serge Pun & Associates Group in Hong Kong as a real estate developer.
