-Budgeting for Operating Expenditures and providing financial advice to the budget holders.-Submitting forecast figures into the reporting consolidation system.*KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: -Lead business planning process from finance side (current year rolling estimate and 3-year planning)-Collect budgets from budget holders-Download actual data from SAP R3-Analyze variances between forecast and actual-Lead meetings with budget holders aimed to explain the variances and update forecast-Ensure SAP actual is booked against correct cost elements and cost centres-Fill in various existing Excel templates requiring detailed presentation of forecast and actual data-Provide finance support for the decision-making process-Prepare ad-hoc reports in Excel-Train and guide non-finance partners in regards to Finance and Internal control policies and procedures-Master SAP R3 for relevant transactions and Excel-Master the Global Reporting Consolidation software/database of The Coca---Cola Company for forecast upload and download -Participation in stock counts – 1 day per 1-2 months-Communication with the key stakeholders that is the directors of respective functions (HR, Procurement, Public Relations, CFO, IT, Sales) and their teams, the US headquarters Finance team, Finance Controller and GL Manager-The process is very well structured and defined, comprehensive onboarding will be provided. The employee will be expected to rise above the routine that is already smooth and perform as a financial advisor to the budget holders assisting in budgeting, actual understanding and monthly accruals.In this role, the employee will not make final decisions but will provide advisory services daily. It is expected that the quality of advice and the transparency of presented ideas will enable the decision-makers (budget holders) to accept most of the advice/suggestions. -The employee will be encouraged to develop new reporting forms or modify/improve existing ones. In this regard, he or she can decide about a technical execution.
-Accounting degree, preferably a professional designation in process (i.e. ACCA). Preferably Excel knowledge but we can teach.-Most of the stakeholders in this role are expatriate senior managers and finance counterparts overseas. -Confident spoken and written English is a must.-No hazard risks in day to day work. Work in Finance room in Hlaing Thar Yar office and other rooms in the same building. In case of stock counts, work in the warehouse space.***Additional Information-This job is comparable to other Business Partner roles with Business Planning team.-This job will require a few hours overtime at least once a month when the employee will need to stay in the office until up to 8-9 p.m. attending conference calls with the US HQ, or, if broadband Internet is available at home, the employee may opt to attend these calls from home. -The employee must be ready to work for a couple of days in the middle of Water Festival break as it coincides with the forecast submission to the US and participate in stock counts one Saturday or Sunday per 1-2 months.-The employee is expected to be highly disciplined and reliable while following regular routines and meeting multiple deadlines. In this role, the employee will be responsible to ensure the budget holders meet their financial deadlines.
