Job Requirement• Develop and maintain timely, accurate financial statements in accordance with international accounting standards (IFRS, MFRS)• Ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures• Ensure all statutory requirements of the organization are met• Prepare all supporting information for the annual audit with the approved external auditor• Document and maintain complete and accurate supporting information for transactions• Develop and maintain a financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control and petty cash• Reconcile bank and investment accounts; and manage cash flow• Analyze and Review monthly results and implement monthly variance reporting as compared to projections and working with the commercial team to identify emerging issues and work improvements.• Manage the cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts.• Manage junior accountants in the bookkeeping function and maintenance of the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll • Develop and implement policies and procedures as required to ensure that personnel and financial information is secure• Assist the management team with financial reporting as required at Board meetings and the Annual General Meetings as well as to provide advice to support the decision making process
Qualification and Requirements• Bcom, LCCI level III, ACCA is preferable.• Minimum of 5+ years managerial experience in accounting field.• Must have knowledge Accounting Software.• Good command English language.• Computer Literate (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Email, Internet Browsing).• Proficiency with relevant software for Accounting/ ERP , Spreadsheets Databases, Word processing, Power Point Presentations, Internet and IFRS/MFRS Knowledge.• Driven individual that is adaptable to fluid situations and an effective communicator• Ability to work under pressure, multi-task, and make decisions by analyzing information and prioritizing
