• System Maintenance: • Work closely with the system vendors and users to eliminate system bugs • Conduct system review and testing• Ensure delivery of quality solutions within the agreed timeline • System Enhancements:• Manage changes to baseline requirements with the use of effective application change control processes. • Business As Usual Process:• Maintain the distributed databases, ensures high performance, and response to requests from the front-end • Troubleshoot and investigate help desk tickets submitted by end users• Prepare application issue reports• Data Extraction:• Support business users with extracting required data to be able to make business decisions and to meet business goals• Implementing New Core PAS: • Participate in the migration of the existing core system to the new enterprise core insurance system
• Bachelor of Information Technology /Computer Science• Working knowledge in Java, an enterprise RDBS (e.g. Oracle, MS SQL Server) or knowledge in reporting tools (e.g. Jasper, Crystal Report) is preferred • Articulate and proficient communication skills in English, both written and verbal• A logical approach to problem solving;• Very good knowledge in SDLC and OOP• Good interpersonal skills with strong technical ability to manage system maintenance and change control• Ability to work well under pressure• Knowledge of various personal and commercial lines of insurance products is an added advantage

The official name of our Company is designated as IKBZ Insurance Company. It is the second largest conglomerate within the Kanbawza (KBZ) Group of Companies amongst its various other financial wings. The KBZ Group of Companies retains a long history of business establishment ever since 1995.The initiation of business started with the Mining Company in Mine-shu, Mogoke, Phakant and Khanti areas under the name of Shan Yoma, Nilar Yoma and Jain-phaw Aung Gems Companies Limited. The income legally earned from its Mining sector was later reinvested in several diversified businesses of the KBZ Group such as Banking, Insurance, Securities, Trust, Micro-finance, Cash Mobilization, Finance and Leasing in the Financial Sector.Some part of the income was also invested in the nonfinancial sector such as Aviation, Hotel & Tourism, Agriculture, Health Care, Real Estate, Trading, Manufacturing, Infrastructure and Technology.
